Fantastic experience! I've lived in the bay area for years and had a friend come to town and we took this tour. Even as a local it was amazing that I'd never seen most of the things the Segways can access... mostly because they're soo small and mobile. Would definitely repeat this tour!

A friend had suggested your tour and I'm so glad she did! We were able to see so much more in a few hours on the Segway than we would have been able to had we tried to walk it. Amy, our guide, was upbeat, funny and informative and the staff's concern for safety and ease of operation by each Segway rider was above the norm. There was some confusion about where to exchange the vouchers for the booklets. Once we got the booklet, things were pretty easy. There should be a larger print somewhere on that booklet letting people know NOT to tear out tickets beforehand. Also, it should be noted that the pass does not guarantee a spot on any of the attraction (i.e. the boat ride, trolley, etc). Some planning at the booth is required since the only thing that actually had to be scheduled was the trip to Alcatraz/Angel Island.

We liked the small group - there were actually only four of us with the guide. The driver/guide had excellent information, used a different return route enabling us to see other things, and was flexible to meet travelers' requests. It is a long day, but we were very happy we saw Yosemite and thought this tour was an excellent way to accomplish this.

If you have just one day in San Francisco, let alone in California, take this tour instead of walking aimlessly around fisherman's wharf. The views are awesome and swimming in the crystal clear rivers can't be beaten when it's in the 90s!

Overall review. I was feeling poorly and still found the trip outstanding, due to our guide Jeff being friendly, flexible, knowledgeable, patient, reliable and trustworthy. We were picked up at 7am and was returned at 1am - overall we feel the trip was an absolute bargain!

We were lucky because it was just my husband and I(There was a tour guide in training with us - so 4 total). I've been to Sausalito a few times, but never visited any of the places we went on the tour, so it was really exciting. + the added experience of riding the Segway just kicked it all up a notch. Superb experience. Even though we last took a tour many years ago, the Segway was very easy to ride up and down hills of San Francisco. The advanced tour in San Francisco was much better than the basic tour that we took on the Balboa Penninsula (Orange County, CA). Highly recommended. My 13 year-old son had no problems riding. I don't understand why the Angel Island Segway tour requires riders to be 16.
